How does the process work?
Four simple steps. Get your real-time price estimate in 60 seconds. Accept your offer in two minutes. Drop off at our Sunningdale, Cape Town location (Monday to Sunday, by appointment) or arrange collection anywhere in South Africa via our trusted courier partner, The Courier Guy. Once your device passes inspection, payment is processed immediately via Instant EFT directly into your account. No obligation at any step until you are ready to proceed.
What devices do you buy?
Apple devices (iPhone, MacBook, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods), Samsung Galaxy (phones, tablets, watches, buds), PlayStation (PS4 and PS5), Xbox (One, Series S and X), laptops (Mac and Windows), Huawei and Honor devices. We also regularly buy devices not on this list — contact us before your visit if you are unsure.
Can I sell multiple devices at once?
Absolutely. Bring them all in one visit. Get prices for each separately on our pricing engine before you come in so you know exactly what to expect. One appointment, one inspection, one payment.
How is my price calculated?
Our pricing engine pulls live South African market data every day and calculates your estimate based on the current buy price for your specific device — model, storage size and condition. The price reflects what your device is worth in today's market. Not last month. Not last year. Today.
Is the price I see guaranteed?
The price our engine shows you is a real-time estimate based on the condition you selected. If your device matches that description on inspection, that is the price we pay. We do not revise downwards after the fact. The only time a price changes is if the device's actual condition differs from what was submitted.
Why might my final price differ from my estimate?
The estimate is based on the condition you selected. If our inspection reveals a different condition — a crack not mentioned, a battery health lower than expected, an account not removed — the price adjusts to reflect the actual device. This is why accurate self-assessment matters upfront. Use our Condition Guide before submitting.
When do I get paid?
Payment is processed immediately once your device passes inspection. We pay via Instant EFT directly into your account as soon as the inspection is complete and your device matches what was described. You’ll receive payment confirmation by WhatsApp or email, so you know exactly when the funds have been sent.
How do I receive payment?
EFT direct into your South African bank account. We need your bank confirmation letter when you drop off — download this from your bank's internet banking portal. No cash payments. No vouchers. No store credit. Just a real EFT into your account.
What documents do I need?
Your South African ID or driver’s licence. A bank confirmation letter from your internet banking portal. A recent proof of address not older than 3 months. That’s all. No unnecessary paperwork beyond these.
Where is your Cape Town location?
Available 7 days a week. Appointments recommended — book when you accept your offer. Alternatively, we offer nationwide collection via our trusted courier partner, The Courier Guy, anywhere in South Africa.
Do you collect from my door?
Yes — we collect anywhere in South Africa via our trusted courier partner, The Courier Guy. Collection is arranged after you confirm your offer via WhatsApp, and we handle everything from there. Delivery typically takes one business day from Gauteng and two business days from other major centres.
What if I change my mind after accepting?
No problem — there is no obligation until your device physically arrives with us. If you change your mind before drop-off or collection, simply let us know. If we have already collected your device and you reject the final offer after inspection, we return it to you at no charge.
What happens to my personal data?
Every device is wiped to original factory settings on arrival — 100%, without exception, regardless of whether you prepared it beforehand. We use industry-standard data erasure protocols. Your photos, contacts, accounts and personal files are gone. Permanently.
Do I need to wipe my device before bringing it in?
We strongly recommend it. Removing your Apple ID or Google account and factory resetting before drop-off speeds up your inspection significantly and means you get paid faster. Full step-by-step guides per device are on our Process page.

CONDITION 1 — BRAND NEW / SEALED (BEST VALUE)

Description: Factory sealed, never opened or activated.

  • Details:

    • Brand new and sealed in original packaging.

    • 100% unused and unopened.

CONDITION 2 — LIKE NEW

Description: As new condition with zero to minimal signs of use.

  • Details:

    • No scratches, dents or signs of wear.

CONDITION 3 — EXCELLENT CONDITION

Description: Like new condition and appearance with only light signs of use.

  • Details:

    • Minimal to light scratches or very minor signs of use.

CONDITION 4 — GOOD CONDITION

Description: Visible signs of use with scratches or marks.

  • Details:

    • Noticeable scratches, marks or minor dents.
